This privacy policy explains how Codgorithm ("we", "us"), a software development company based in Peshawar, Pakistan, handles personal information when you visit codgorithm.com or contact us.

This website is hosted by Hostinger (hostinger.com). Like any web server, Hostinger's servers automatically record technical information about each visit in server log files, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the website running and secure.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or advertising. Fonts, images and all other files are served from our own hosting; the website does not load content from Google or other third-party services.

Links to our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp profiles only take you to those services when you click them. Once you are on their websites, their own privacy policies apply.

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, company (optional), the service you are interested in, your timeline (optional) and your message. When you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your email.

We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to communicate with you about your project.

Contact form enquiries are delivered as an email to our mailbox at info@codgorithm.com, which is hosted by Hostinger. We do not send automatic emails to the address entered in the form.

To protect the form against spam, we temporarily store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which cannot be read back as the original address, for up to one hour. It is used only to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one connection.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for marketing without your permission.

We share it only with the providers we need to run this website and our email (Hostinger), or when we are required to by law.

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you. If we work together, we keep project communication for the duration of our business relationship and for as long as legal or accounting record-keeping requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Codgorithm who need them to respond to you.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@codgorithm.com and we will respond as soon as we can.

We are based in Pakistan, so information you send us is handled in Pakistan. If data protection law such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, we handle your enquiry to take steps at your request before a possible contract and because we have a legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

In that case you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your information, to receive a copy of it, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
